TEMPO.CO, Bekasi - State - owned toll road company PT Jasa Marga Jakarta - Cikampek recorded that 102,000 vehicles left Jakarta during the peak of 2017 Eid al Adha homecoming.
"It increased 32 percent," PT Jasa Marga spokesperson Dwimawan Heru said in Cikarang Utama Toll Gate on Friday, September 1.

Dwimawan stated that on a regular day about 77,000 vehicles go through Cikarang Utama Toll Gate. The vehicles range from Class I to V. However, in the homecoming period from Thursday morning to Friday morning, private cars dominated the homecoming traffic flow. "It means a lot of Jakarta residents had homecoming trips."
He further said that Jasa Marga operated 14 gates in Cikarang Utama toll road. In order to speed up card collection, Jasa Marga assigned 15 officers to serve toll road users. "They don’t have to collect the cards, but the officers collected it for them," Dwimawan added.
